The underlying component to a home-lab is the network, luckily the Ubiquiti Dream Machine has a seamless and easily expanded platform packed full of valuable enterprise features. Some features I’m utilizing are below:

• Router/Gateway/WAP (Routing, switching and wireless).
• Firewall, port forwarding, internal honeypot and geo-blocking.
• Guest network with login portal.
• SD-WAN between multiple locations utilizing Site Manager

The Dream Machine is a very elegant solution packed full of enterprise features fit for any tinkerer.
